Donuts with Naturalvert granola

                                     Donuts with Naturalvert granola

Ingredients for Donut

  • 2/3 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup agave syrup
  • 3.5 oz. olive oil
  • 2 cup flour, loosely packed (works with all purpose, spelt, or bob's gf)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup Naturalvert Mixed Berry granola

For Glaze

  • 2 lb. fresh or frozen strawberries
  • ¼ cup agave syrup
  • 2 tbsp. (15 ml) lemon juice

1.      Preheat oven to 350 F degrees

2.      Combine all dry ingredients and set aside.

3.      Combine all liquid ingredients.

4.      Stir together all remaining ingredients, then pour wet into dry and stir until just evenly mixed. Don't overmix.

5.      Bake 14 minutes (depending on flour used), or until donuts have risen and batter is no longer wet. Let sit 5 minutes before removing from the pan.

6.      While baking, place either frozen or fresh strawberries in food processor unitl pureed.

7.      In a sauce pan, add strawberries, agave syurp, lemon juice and cornstarch and mixe well over medium high heat for a few minutes until it thickens and set aside.

8.      Remove donuts out of oven on to surface and frost with strawberry glaze and crust with Naturalvert Mixed berry granola and enjoy.
