Ingredients
Chocolate spread
- 1/4 cup sunflower butter nut butter (preference)
- 4 tbsp. Date syrup
- 3 tbsp. cocoa powder unsweetened
- 4 tbsp. water or plant based milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of sea salt
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a medium-sized bowl and stir with a whisk until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
- Taste it and add more date syrup if you want it sweeter! Add more nut butter and cocoa powder for a thicker cream or more water for a thinner chocolate spread.
For banana split
- 1 large Banana, sliced in half lengthwise
- 4 small scoops vegan ice cream (I used 4 scoops)
- Chocolate date sauce (recipe above)
- Cherries
- Banana cinnamon granola (for toppings)
Instructions
- Prep all of your desired toppings in advance.
- Place the sliced banana in a large oblong bowl (or simply any old bowl will do!).
- Add a couple scoops of ice cream and a dollop of coconut whipped cream.
- Add the rest of your desired toppings and enjoy immediately!
